I got a ton of music from Ghost and was having a lot of fun with the VNV album she included, so this happened.
This was supposed to have a cute pastel yellow background but I don’t understand watercolors as well as I’d like so I cut it out and put it on black paper. I think it came out pretty cool this way actually.
So, this shows the nature of their relationships. Merriweather and Carlos (shown here in her human/main form) have been together for six years—a few weeks before Merri got kicked out—but they broke off their engagement/relationship for a while to work on their individual problems and planned to get back together once they felt they could handle a relationship again. They did so but almost didn’t since they both saw other people too. So this is recently after they got back together…and they’re doing better.
Lindsay is Carlos’ best friend and roommate and offers sound advice and good support on everything she does. She also has helped Merriweather with his own issues many times and they’re good friends, although not as close as him and Carlos. He currently lives with some other friends since he’s still working out some things he’d like to get over with before moving in with them again, but normally Merri would live with Lindsay too. Considering why he and Carlos broke up (a failed attempt for him to have a second relationship) she isn’t as trusting of him as she was previously as she knows his emotions often speak for him more than he’d like. His self control is still not fantastic.
Hence why Lindsay’s face is covered up in favor of them holding hands, I guess. Glue or something, IDK. Stars and OTT sweet and puffy stickers, I’m happy <3 Very happy with the outcome, this is my favorite thing so far this year maybe <3

Submission for Odium Comix! I’m happy I had something happen to nudge me into drawing this/something like this, and pleased to be included in a work with other artists that aren’t IRL, without some prize for best in show. It’s kind of exhilarating! There’s still time to submit to their first issue! Submissions close on the 30th, comics and illustrations only, and it’ll be out in June. Also, fuck yeah sex positive and owning up to personal turn ons!

There’s two weeks until the May 31st deadline for issue #1, so please send me stuff by then.
